Delete your data

Effective 31 October 2026 · Applies to Credible Arena (OPC) Private Limited

In plain words

Three levels, depending on what you want gone. Disconnect a channel and we stop reading it immediately. Delete your account and we erase your personal data within 30 days. Either way, a small set of records — tax documents, and the agreements behind campaigns that actually ran — has to be kept because Indian law requires it, and we say exactly which below.

01Disconnect one social channel

The fastest option, and it takes effect at once.

  1. Sign in at app.influj.com and open My channels.
  2. Choose the channel and select Disconnect.

We immediately revoke the stored access token, stop refreshing that channel’s metrics, and remove its audience demographics. If you had switched the inbox on for it, every message, conversation and comment we had received for that channel is deleted in the same step, along with the record of any automatic reply. Conversations nobody has touched for a year are deleted anyway, whether or not you disconnect. You can also do it from the platform’s side — remove Influj under Facebook business integrations or at Google account permissions. When a platform tells us you have revoked access, we mark the channel disconnected without waiting for you to come back to us.

02Delete your whole account

  1. Sign in and go to Settings → Privacy, then choose Delete my account.
  2. Or email privacy@influj.com from your registered address with the subject Delete my account. We may ask one question to confirm it is really you.

If you sign in with Facebook, Google or Apple, you can also remove Influj from that account’s settings (on Facebook, Apps and websites). That stops it sharing anything new with us. The link itself (the account’s id, name, email and picture it gave us) is deleted with your Influj account.

AcknowledgedWithin 48 hours.
CompletedWithin 30 days.
ConfirmedWe email you when it is done, listing what was deleted and what was retained under clause 4.

03Before you can delete

Two things have to be settled first, and both protect you:

  • Live campaigns must be closed. You are under contract with a counterparty; deleting mid-campaign would strand them and leave your own claim unprovable.
  • Withdraw your earnings. We will not delete an account holding a creator’s earnings; if some are left behind we hold them and keep trying to reach you rather than absorb them. Campaign funds and service credit are not refundable and end with the account, so we tell you the amount and ask you to confirm before deleting.

04What we delete, and what we must keep

DeletedYour profile, contact details, Facebook, Google and Apple sign-in links, KYC documents and identity numbers, connected-channel records and access tokens, cached posts and metrics, messages, uploaded files, saved searches and notification history.
Kept — tax recordsInvoices, TDS and TCS records and Form 16A, for eight years. The Income-tax Act and the Companies Act require this, and they are also the documents that prove tax was deducted on your behalf.
Kept — completed campaign agreementsThe signed statement of work and its delivery evidence, because it is a contract between you and another party who also has rights in it. Your personal identifiers within it are minimised to what the document needs to remain valid.
Kept — fraud and abuse signalsWhere an account was closed for fraud or a serious breach, we keep the minimum needed to stop the same person re-registering.

Everything retained is locked to its legal purpose. It is not used for marketing, analytics or profiling, and it is deleted when its retention period ends.

05Just want a copy instead?

You can export your data without deleting anything — Settings → Privacy → Export my data, or ask at privacy@influj.com. You get a machine-readable file within 30 days. Your other rights are listed in the privacy policy.

06If we get it wrong

If a deletion request is not honoured, escalate through grievance redressal. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
